Matt Riding BS, SCT(ASCP)^CM

Matt Riding graduated from the University of Utah in 1989 with a B.S. in Medical Laboratory Sciences specializing in Cytotechnology. During his many years of employment, he has worked mostly in management capacities and has always been very active in local and national societies.

Recently Matt Riding served as the President of the California Association of Cytotechnologists. During this tenure, he was able to pull together support from both local and national organizations to change a law that had limited the scope of practice in California. This was a big victory for the Cytotechnology profession in California as it broadened the scope of practice to include molecular testing among other tests. Over the years Matt Riding has also served on several committees for both the ASCT and ASC and is looking forward to his continued service.
